The plain language agreement for using the app.

These terms are the agreement between you and Hodova for the use of Expanding Gratitude. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. We have kept them as plain as we can.
"We", "us" and "Expanding Gratitude" mean Hodova, the studio that builds and operates the app. "You" means the person using it. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Expanding Gratitude for your own wellbeing. The app is for personal, non-commercial use.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Please give accurate information when you sign up, and let us know if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
Everything you write in the app, your journal entries, reflections, vision boards and more, belongs to you. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store it and show it back to you inside the app. We do not claim ownership of your words and we do not use them for advertising. Expanding Gratitude supports everyday wellbeing. It is not medical or psychological treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional care. The reflective and tapping practices in the app are for general wellbeing only. If you are in crisis or need support, please contact a qualified professional or an emergency service in your area.
Please do not misuse the app: no attempting to break its security, no using it unlawfully, and no interfering with other people's use. We may suspend accounts that do.
The app, its lessons, music, design, logos and code are owned by Hodova or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, resell or redistribute them without permission.
We work hard to keep the app running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. We may update, add or remove features over time, and we may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will let you know.
To the extent permitted by law, Expanding Gratitude is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under South African consumer law.
You can stop using the app and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached.
